Happy 250 America!

The Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite weekends of the year. Living here in the Charleston Lowcountry, it's hard to beat a summer day on the water, a backyard barbecue with family and friends, and the excitement of fireworks lighting up the night sky.

As someone who loves boating, I also want to remind everyone to stay safe on the water. Take your time, keep an eye out for one another, and make sure everyone gets home safely so the memories are all good ones.

Most of all, Independence Day is a time to reflect on how fortunate we are to live in such an incredible nation. While we may not always agree on everything, we're united by the freedoms we enjoy and the opportunities this country provides. It's worth taking a moment to appreciate those who have served, sacrificed, and continue to protect those freedoms.

We truly live in a great country, and I'm grateful to call it home.
